Limited Income Homes - MFTE
Forge West Seattle is proud to participate in the Seattle Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) program to provide rent-restricted homes to those with limited incomes. The maximum allowable income is determined by the City, expressed as a percentage of Area Median Income (%AMI). How do I Qualify?
To be eligible for the MFTE program, your household income must meet specific limits, which depend on both your household size and the apartment type. After completing the application and screening process, our leasing team will need to certify that your household income is eligible for the program associated with the home you've selected.
What do MFTE homes Look Like?
The MFTE program has high standards for comparability between MFTE and market-rate units which means that the MFTE units at Forge West Seattle look just like any other unit. The MFTE-designated homes at Forge West Seattle include: studios, 1-bedroom , 2-bedroom homes.
